Beware of tales told by those taking pictures of their stoves in a barn.

Oui.

Probably not a fair trade huh:) French were converting trucks and cars to run on gasified wood an coal to run soldiers to the battle lines.

The starter in the car doesn't work either. >>

Push start! Had a Ford economy car in the mid 90s that we would always park on an incline.

Maybe england stove works would offer him a brand new car on trade for his rare pdvc that burns corn and coal.

Now we know why igniter is bad. Couldn't light coal

I'm half tempted to message the owner asking what size coal it burns.

I try to stay away from craigslist now. The last time i was interested in something, it was a 4x8 tow behind trailer. I get there and it looks awfully small. I say what size is this? he says 4x8. i get out my tape measure and measure 3 1/2 x 6.
uggh

I could have used it to haul home that coal burning pdvc. my pdvc only burns pellets and the occasional handful of olive pits or nutshells i throw in it out of pure winter boredom

Got to love those standard cars! We have employed that method a few times...

As to CL, somebody should notify them that it is not approved for coal and pull the ad. Bad form for the uninformed.

You can also flag the ad . I just did. I would hate so see someone buy it try it and fry it.

Wonder if they burned Pea Cole in it?
Still the stove is not meant to burn coal.
I don,t think they are set up for corn burning either.
