Why on earth will hearth.com not allow Apple users to post a video directly?
I think this would simplify things and attract more users. It's very frustrating. It's one of the largest platforms out there. I was going to post a video tonight but it was just to much of a hassle. :-(
 
Just a guess, file size? Post to YouTube and then provide a link.
 
Sometime I've found that I need to trim my video's length and then save them in h264 format (.mp4) to get the file size down. Uncompressed .mov files are very large.

How do you convert it to that? Can I do it on my phone? Do you know a conversion app?
 
Start by recording the video at a lower size. 720P is fine for web display.

There are video size reduction apps like this one below but I have not tested them. I'm on Android.

If you have a Mac computer you can also use the Quicktime app or iMovie to reduce file size by exporting to a lower resolution like 480P.
