Wet, wet, Washington
In 2023 we had our woodstove installed and I was cleaning the chimney this weekend to prepare for the season. I used my Sooteater to clean from the outside T into the house, my wife noticed that the interior stove pipe wasn't attached to the thimble - the Sooteater was pushing it away from the thimble connection.

I'm assuming that it should be screwed into the thimble connection, correct? This isn't the first thing that has made me question the work of the installer.

Let me know if pictures would help. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Yes, all connections should feature three screws
