Good evening, were involved in a new constrution project here in CT and were looking to put in a woodburning insert. We've looked at so many extrodinear elite 44, napolian nz6000 and the bis. Were looking to heat 3000 sq ft. Any advise pros or cons on any of the above mentioned brands or any other . Open for suggestions.

Thanks

You are looking for a built in ZC EPA fireplace, not an insert. Inserts are for retrofit installs into an old fireplace.

There are quite a few threads about this subject, you might be able to find some by searching.

You can add the 7100FP to your list
(broken link removed to http://www.quadrafire.com/Products/Wood_Burning/Wood_Model.asp?f=7100fp)

Can also check out the kozyheat zc woodburning fireplace models

And BIS has clones made by Lennox---Montecito and Montecito Estate and Panorama and Villa, etc.
