Our wood-burner stove (Burley Hollywell) of 2 years has started giving off fumes irritating eyes, nose and throat - Goggle seems to think Nitrogen Dioxide may be the cause.

Have changed logs, cleaned the chimney, had the stove checked out by the installer and cleaned all surfaces in the room, the problem persists.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Have you cleaned the chimney as well as the stove pipe? Including the area above the baffle and the chimney cap? What stove do you have?

It's a Burley Hollywell. The chimney and pipe have been cleaned although the baffle and not as yet been checked and cleaned. Nice of you to come back, much appreciated.
