Well I put off building my woodshed another year, too many things have come up and I dont want to rush it before rainy weather comes for the fall season. I have been concerened about what I'm going to use to cover this year, I currently use left over particle board but it's obviously going bad pretty quick. My stacks for this years use are close to my house and I don't really want to see tarps flapping everyday when I go by (at least dont want to hear how my wife doesnt like it ha). Scrap metal roofing is hard to come by around here too because people haul of scrap for their living it seems anymore.
So, after reading Scotty's thread a while back about his rubber roofing I figured that was a way to go. Called all the roofing places in the three closest towns looking for scraps and none would come off of it for a price I wanted to pay so I was back to ordering tarps. But my daily glances at CL's barter section paid off yesterday. I found the plastic sheeting picutred below. 5/32" thick, 4foot wide and just short of 100foot long. All this for my old craftsman chainsaw that was in the corner of the garage collecting dust (only go for about 75 barely used anymore).
Just had to share my Cover Score with you all since none of my work friends can understand my excitement over such a good deal on a roll of plastic.
