Hi there. We just moved into a 1950 home that has a lovely wood fireplace which we have already used a lot. The insert has tubes that line wrap around the back of the fireplace and gather at the front. On the right, you see a(n) (exhaust) register. on the left…an (? intake) port. The pre sale inspector commented…”with a fan…that will heat up the house really well.”. I reached out to him but haven’t heard back….

Suggestions? Where do I look/search and how do I do so…yes. I know….google…fireplace stores s etc…
