First pic looks like some kind of maple? Second pic, the stuff with the reddish colored core wood is cherry.
 
Silver Maple...

Not sure I agree with the cherry call. the bark doesn't look right to me. It could be cherry though.

Soft Maple. Black Cherry
 
In the second picture I see a bunch of Black Cherry, a few sticks of soft maple in the upper right corner of the picture, and two pieces of elm or Black Locust on the left side of the picture sitting atop some cherry. I think I see some White Oak on the bottom of the pile in the first picture, but on my screen I don't see enough resolution to be very confident.
 
Left: silver maple.
Right: mostly black cherry, some red mulberry (left) and silver maple (right.)
All decent stuff, just not to die for.
