Anyone know what this? One of my neighbors wanted it gone, so I grabbed it, probably a 1/3 of a cord.
 
First pic looks like alder or maple. But all the pics showing the bark - honestly looks like cottonwood to me. I'm pretty sure it's cottonwood and/or poplar.
 
Thanks! Based on responses / google, I’m pretty sure it’s red maple.

I just cut a similar sized poplar tree down and these rounds are noticeably heavier than the poplar, even though this is very dry and that poplar is green. I’m drying that stuff in a separate stack so I don’t get mixed up.

Poplar out our way has a much thicker bark, almost black locust like.

Not seeing any diamond bark so probably not Ash.

I agree with maple. Bark doesn't quite look like the red here in the Northwoods. I had a similar maple conundrum on some maple logs from a tree service last fall in SE WI and came to my best guess was black maple, which looked similar to what you have.
