+2 cottonwood

:(

Too bad......for a brief second I thought I saw rock oak, but I'm on my phone and after zooming in its definately cottonwood.....

Willow or cottonwood.

I gotta say, that looks like some Cottonwood to me, but check the rings on the largest piece on the right. I can't count them all at that resolution, but estimate is about 40-45. What is that 10-12" across? Some slooooow growing cottonwood for southern NYS, no?

Geez that is some chunky bark, and I thought BL was thick :-O

i think you are all wrong. i am 100% certain that it is chestnut oak. by far, my favorite wood. the bark is a dead givaway. now, since i got it right, i want a face cord delivered asap.

oh yeah, 20" lengths please :p
