Just wondering if this is tulip. Ill take a pic tomorrow minister. It has a straight grain tho i know that.

Hard to tell with that shot. Is wood greenish when split?
 
Looks like ash.

The picture of the closeup of the round, the first picture, it looks like there is the pinhole in the middle of the cutside like Ash has, but something looks a little "off" as the grain looks a little "softer" than Ash to me if that makes sense. Whack a round open and post a picture of what the inside looks like please....
 
I have a round simir to that and some said a type of pine

I am thinking Basswood. Ash has a darker heart wood (see pic). Basswood is great for carving if your into that.

Note how fuzzy the wood and bark appear. It is one thing and one thing only.... BASSWOOD.

That was the first thing I noticed about it.
