Starting to cut a bunch of maple for firewood . So im just wondering what the consensus is on wood length for eko 40 im guessing about 21" .

I find 16" to be the best length for me. I will have a longer piece every now and again but I have had less than stellar results when I load the firebox with 18"+. More bridging, harder to start, etc and so on....
