Wood on the side of rt 395 in CT

After picking my son up at Mohegan Sun on Saturday I went south on 395 toward Waterford. Just after the rest stop there is a Sh*t load of wood along side the road for about 2 miles. Its too far for me to take the truck out and back but maybe someone here can get to it.

Only problem is some of it is directly across from the State prison and the police get a little touchy about people stopping there. (honest officer I always wear an orange jump suit when I cut firewood)

I'll have to check out 395. I was just down that way last weekend, but it was dark & raining pretty hard, couldn't see crap.

Too close to the cops for me - The only time I've ever seen people collecting wood along 395 they were getting hollered at by staties.

One of my GF's co-workers was northbound yesterday and saw about 6 different pick up trucks sitting along 395 scrounging away.
