[Hearth.com] Wood Shed is holding up.

Looks good Steve. We have 3 rows in our barn and are still working on the first row. Lots of cold air coming though.

Have a pic of what you started with, Steve?
Seems like you're doing something right.
No. But about 1/3 through what I put up.

Man-O-man, I'm jealous. One of these days, I'm going to build a proper wood shed and fill it with 3 year old dried wood and really enjoy wood heat. But until then.....

It takes a while. You will get there, and you will really enjoy it.

I don't have a shed either but I have plywood cut to fit my front porch and will hold a little over a cord. When I need more I move to porch and it stays dry.

There are 3 rows. We're still working on the first one. There is close to 2 1/2 cord in the 3 rows. We used to stack 3 cord in there but found in the first 2 years of doing that we still had plenty left over in the spring.

Same here Dennis. That's about what we burn. Amazingly, after 3 years with the new, second stove, I find I am burning less.
