I will not mention names on the owner of this wood stove but it was cleaned today after 1 1/2 yrs from being installed. This is not all off the creosote cause the pipe was still full of about 4" of more nastiness.
My diagnoses would be restricted airflow. A nice controlled chimney fire would take care of that.
The airflow when the door is open to put more wood in. Bet the house gets a little smokey...no pun intended. What airflow?

So?? What kind of wood stove was it?
You know it was the stoves fault. So I don't want that model? I want me a different one that don't make no creosote (double negative for ya)
Can't be the wood, can't be the operator, so it Must be the Stove!!
It is a QuadraFire Isle Royal and the owner is me.

Can't be ! A Quad would never allow that to happen. They burn way too hot. Nothing burns like a Qaud! Must have been one of the Harmons. It is a QuadraFire Isle Royal and the owner is me.

You need to spend more time in the hearth room.
That is like when you see a painter's house, usually the wrost looking one on the street! It is a QuadraFire Isle Royal and the owner is me.
