No I thought the name was New England Pellet but no thats next ,what store chain carries them? I saw the reviews and they werent to good as far as the uniformity and duff in the bag but these from Ashland Northeast are a good pellet but just the 2nd pellet to try.

What I can't understand is that Maine should have great pellets, but they're mostly meh... MWPs could be great, but they first need to get rid of the dust/fines.

This is true but they burn hot (MWP).

I am embarrassed with the poor quality of my home state pellets! They suck !
I don't know about anywhere else in New England but down here in the Southeast portion it's tough to get a clean pellet from much of anywhere. I don't know if has to do with traveling distances or what but even Okanagans tend to be dusty here. In fact the Platinum's were the worst I burned last year for dust. Energex Hardwood are about as clean as we get actually, then they are a bit ashy. So no real stands outs down here that check all the boxes anyway.

Maybe you should be embarrassed about the quality of your stove ................. they burn fine in mine .....................

Ive like MWP they burn clean as far as Im concerned. You get what you pay for they are a big box pellet they were $210 at walmart this year.

Perfect spot to start a pellet mill ......................
I have been telling everyone that. Kind of glad my farther told us none of us would work at the mill when we were kids. It's going to be strange next time I Go home to see it closed

I hear alot about the duff in the bags but shouldnt that burn up too or is it an auger issue,
It's all relative. MWPs are good, but I was talking about great pellets. There are pellets made elsewhere that are great and MWPs could be great if they weren't so dusty and ashy. When I empty a bag of pellets in the hopper, I'd prefer it if that half cup of fines didn't fly up out of the hopper. Who wants that? Can't burn the dust and fines that don't go in the hopper.
