If you mean stove pipe like Simson DVL od Od is 7"
If you mean class A chimney like Simson duratec then the OD is8"

Sitting in my kitchen as I type is some Selkirk 6" chimney [Metalbestos] and some Selkirk dbl wall black stovepipe. The chimney [the stainless stuff for outdoors] is 8" outside diameter. The black stovepipe is 6 1/2 inch OD. Don't know about any other brands, Selkirk is all I've ever used.
