    Damn, I guess I am fortunate enough to say I have never owned a vehicle I had hated enough to do that to!

    Guess it could be handy if you trusted the service.

    That's amazing that someone would trust complete strangers to take care of their car. Gotta be a catch. Also, I'd worry about them trying to blame damage on you. I looked in my area and someone is actually renting their Porsche 911!!!!! WTF?
    More reasonable are people renting older vans and pickups that are probably ready to die anyway.

    the home depot pick up is only $20 an hour. and there's no personal issues to worry about dealing with a stranger.

    Ditto, (plus they often don't care if it's under 2 hours).... or just use your girlfriends truck. ;)
