didnt feel it here, but i guess out in eastern CT people felt it

I am about 2 and a half miles from ground zero, It was very scarey and I didn't know what to fight or run from! Stove and chimney is fine and none of my woodstacks fell....2 pieces was almost off the stack in my storage building. So far haven't found anything wrong as I walked around outside the house this morn....

Nothing here either ....Northern New Haven County,CT

Heard it as well. By road it was 19.2 miles from me and close to three miles deep.

Wow, thats close! Me thinx it might have been some side effect of the latest batch of brew Mr. Bear has been sippin! Bad case of bear gas! But will he admit to it?

It weren't this bear or this bear's brews.

This party
milleo

was closer so perhaps they should be questioned.

In other words stop blaming the woodland critters, we is innocent!!!!

I dont know about that. I was in Kittery; we heard and felt it roll right through the house in a big way. Now that I think of it, there was a funny smell right after. I thought it was the teenage boys socks, but now I dont know.

Havnt been home yet, but all should be OK there. Would be a shame if the TV fell over and I had to get a new one ==c

Less than 20 miles from ground zero myself. It was very loud, and weren't no truck driving by. Been to Cali a few times and experienced one so I knew what that was right off. Shook the whole house, up and down as well as side to side. Yikes!!!

Did not feel it here. Heard about it thru Facebook of course!
Well, had to share this photo with you. Not sure if someone from
Maine came up with this but is kind of funny!

Earthquake in New England..my stove is fine.

I didn't feel a thing in eastern CT, but my dog definitely did. I didn't know what the heck was wrong with her, she was all fidgety and on "High Alert" which is something because she usually is just a bear rug. Didn't figure it out till I heard about the quake today.

Hmmm....had one down here in VA not long ago.hit during a school workday. Some stupid science teacher initially claimed it was a " Bearing in the HVAC gone bad "

:p

Still hearin' about that.

We actually have an "earthquake drill" planned for tomorrow!

Yup, today is the "Great Shake Out"...national earthquake awareness day of some kind. I'd bet we here in New England wouldn't be hearing anything about this if not for our own shake up the other night.

Didn't feel anything at the local nuke plant where I work in SE CT, no seismic monitor alarms either.

We did get a couple of phone calls about it though because we do have actions to take if the quake is strong enough.

We'll all kiddin aside, Glad everyone is safe!

Didn't see much on the news, Hope there wasn't a lot of damage! Saw a couple had some foundation damage. Hopefully the insurance covers stuff like that?

That weren't no earthquake that was OMV's stash falling over he's got it piled too high :)

I was literally laying on the ground in Boothbay. My truck broke down and we were trying to fix it for 3.5 hours in the dark. Where I was is all ledge. I felt nothing. I heard nothing.
