Hi-

Englander and England Stove Works . . . are these the same companies? The owners manual from the ESW lists multiple models that would use the same manual, and both the above stoves seem to be included although the exact 13-NCH isn't included but several other variants are:

This is the model I was thinking about and it comes with the legs:

And when I check AMFM for dent and scratch this one comes up and it's $50 more which isn't bad if it's a better stove but the curbside drop cost is also higher:

I'm really not an expert so maybe I'm missing the obvious but does anyone have any advice/help? Cheaper is better for this application!

The manual(s) are available on the HomeDepot sight, also.
Just be aware of the clearances & the required hearth "R" value needed on these stoves.

Yes, thanks. I am just wondering if these are the same stoves but branded differently.

Likely the same fire-box, with same/similar installation requirements. I would guess that it is a lot about marketing, as well as some cosmetic changes, e.g., HomeDepot often sells these with some add-ons (like shielding and/or blower).

That seems to be the case. It is interesting that the new model though HD is $50 less than the dent and scratch and that made me wonder what was up between the models.

Also sold under the Summer's Heat and TimberRidge brands. Same stoves.

So I guess the consensus is that there is no real difference. That was my suspicion but I wanted to know for sure. HD curbside shipping is only $55 which makes it an even better deal.
