Does anyone know the dimension of the front of the stove to the back of the 90 deg connector pipe? I would like to keep the stove front at most 40" from the back wall using single wall and heat shields. The stove has to be 18" from the wall, but where does that put the stove pipe at?

Looks like 21 1/4 inches from the front most protruding cast iron lip of the lid to the back of the 90 deg connector pipe.

10" with a shield. Refer to page 8.

I have 30" from the stove front to the back of my 22 ga single wall 90 elbow. All 90 degree elbow aren't the same, the old 24 ga I bought from the local hardware store was a bit smaller. Also incase you didn't know the Fireview only requires 8" in front.

WOW I read the manual ten times and missed that part. So the 90 deg elbow only adds 8" to the unit? THats how I understand it.

One of my stoves is sitting at that 18" measurement. The 90 degree single wall elbow (which I got from Woodstock) when in place, is 10" from the wall. They told me the 10" measurement was to the pipe and not the pipe shield which would in fact be roughly 1" closer to the wall. Hope that helps.
