We are right in the waning stages of our first cold snap (for us anyway) got into the upper teens for two nights with daytimes at 20F

Normally with temps in the 48 to 50 F range the little prodigy can handle the job just fine.
Once the temps drop to low 40's then the Advangtage II is fired up and the Prodigy is shut off.

Starting last Sunday eavening we have had both stoves running on a low setting and the house was comfy at around 68-70 F

Just got through giving the little stove (Prodigy) a good overall cleaning and a window wash job.

This first cold snap has given us a great test of the heating capabilities of the two stoves working together.

I am overall very pleased.

Using about 3 5 gallon pails of nut shells in a 24 hour period.

This is about 60 pounds of materials total.

How this rates to pellets, not sure but its probably close to two bags worth.

When we heated totally with the Quadrafire on Pellets, we would use about a two bags a day in cold weather to heat the 2400 Sq feet.

The cold is going away starting tomorrow, so we will likley be back to just one stove.

Be back up in the mid to upper 40's by Saturday.

Happy Hollikdays to all

Snowy
