The problem is it’s all. Oak. So I’m banking it will not be dry for the fall. This is the first year in over 10 years I did not get ahead. I have some ash coming this week. I’m hoping I could burn that this fall
 
I'm seeing a fair amount of maple in there but still might not be ready this fall, depends on the weather this summer. BTW nice work!
 
I have about 10-11 cords. Stacked 3 rows deep and about 5’ high. I know this isn’t the best way to dry firewood but I’m limited to space. Do you guys think ash will be ready by fall?
 
Was it green when delivered? Oak? Then no.

Those piles of logs can be really dangerous. I’m a fan of rolling logs off of the pile before cutting.

Looks like nice fuel!

Just search “solar kiln”, there’s a great thread from woodsplitter67 ( I think ), with lots of pictures and descriptions..
If I remember right I think he’s from Jersey too, so you guys might just be neighbors ??
