I saw some guard rail posts for sale on craigslist. Does anyone know what kind of wood they use for these?
Probably treated but I thought I'd ask.

Wood ones are treated or they'll rot. Sometimes it's coal creosote, other times its pressure treated. Notice the greenish hue- it's a dead giveaway.

    Treated. Don't burn 'em.

If they were locust w/o treatment it would have been a find at $75 for 24 of them.
