Just bought a house with an enviro m55. The rake will not move and it's bad shape. The rod to move it won't even let me close the decorative 2nd door.I have cleaned it the best I could and tried to use force, not budging and don't want to damage the tubes.

If it has never been used or just now and then it will be hard to free up
Clean the heat exchanger as best you can then try to move the rack if
it moves a little bit working it back and forth will take time and effort
but eventually, it will free up. It can be a pain in the rear and all it does
is remove ash from the Heat Exchanger. Note only use the rake when
stove is off and cold
