I was hoping duct tape would do in a pinch.

Mentioned the cracking issue to my dealer and he got on his horse fast, saying they've never had one come back yet .....
His claim is if you run single wall pipe with a guage, and keep it in the sweet zone, you're not going to have issues. Fingers crossed - Time will tell.
