    Carl is fellow who did stove installations and didn't do that good of a job, it seemed to Scott that he was always correcting Carl's messes.

    Mommyof4, the question I have at this point are these:

    1. Is the stove burning OK and without any smoke in the room, and

    2. did you get around to replacing that computer surge strip with something better, like the TrippLite UltraBlok I mentioned way back in the beginning of this thread?

    1) There was a little bit of smoke in the beginning, but I was informed that it could've been the lubricant burning off. We checked for carbon monoxide and it was fine.

    2) Yes.
