Our local dealer's prices dropped from $300 to $265 a ton.....does this mean oil is going up now ;-P
How are the pellet prices by you?

I don't think the oil to pellet relationship is quite that tight. Pellet prices are dropping because the pellet manufacturers are starting to catch back up. Reasons: New plants are opening, some manufacturers have enlarged their plants, the initial surge of all the new pellet stove owners trying to get their pellets is over and exisint plants are catching back up.
