Mike
I just purchased the 49-CPM
I have no plan on burning corn, as of now, so do I have to install corn vent pipe?

EDIT: i stand corrected , the manual does not allow for pellet vent even if burning only pellets , BB is correct , get the corn pipe, i am removing prior statement about using pellet vent pipe

If you have a sharp building or insurance inspector and they ask you if you used the corn vent that is listed as a requirment in the manual, what ya gonna tell'em? And further to what Mike said, if you sell the place and they burn the joint down you are screwed.

It ain't worth it. Pop the little bit extra for the corn vent pipe.

What is the difference between a pellet and a corn pipe????

Dura Vent's Pellet Vent Pro will cover you.

Eric
