Looking great! I have never burned Maple before, but was able to get some from a tree service this spring. Looking forward to having that in my wood stove in a couple years!

1 solid year should do it on the maple.

Silver maple drys real fast. I split a cord of it this February and it already feels dry enough to burn. Haven't tested it, but it's light and cracking. Sounds like a drum stick
