I wonder if anyone will ever come up with an insulated stove pipe that is insulated? Just think, no worries about expansion and conrtraction, flexible, and insulated. Might be ugly though but a lot easier to install. Just thinking.
 
So your thinking flex and double wall insulated??? You obviously know they already make double wall insulated pipe. They also make double wall non insulated. If your talking flex for a liner in a chimney they also can pour heat resistant grout all the way down around the liner.
