Tree ID please

I have a nuisance of a tree and I'm just trying to ID it before I cut it down and decide to split it up or not.

looks like elm leaves and a white oak bark.
 
Here in MS that looks like elm leaves and elm bark. What you have there is elm[emoji1] most likely winged, possibly American. It's decent firewood but a real bear to split without a hydro.

The leaf definitely looks like elm. We have English Elm growing on our property. Here is what a young tree's bark and a mature one looks like.
