    Guess I'd have to go with 'dry' wood - being probed with a HQRP moisture meter.

    Id have to say its probably petrified wood from the looks of the picture! You wouldnt have happend to have collected noahs arc on your last scrounge did you?

    Thats either sketch or cartoon wood. Its hard to tell from that angle. I need a split. A leaf would seal the deal.

    Hey thats my moisture meter, but your works. Mine stopped after a year. If you split that wood open it will not be 4% inside. Split it open, take another pic, and reading.
