Hello, quick Google search told me this was the place to go for woodstove help

I'm still pretty new to owning and using a wood stove, and I don't feel I'm using it right on account of not being familiar with the functions of it.

Here are come pictures of it...

When using it I find that it's either wide open full power burn, or nothing at all, and it chokes the fire out.

The two levers of the front I'm assuming are the drafts, and the slide on the side is for the top flue cover.

But what is the brass spinning knob on the side In the third picture?

Let me know if ya need any more info, and thanks for the help!

You can also go into the search section on the right top of this page and type Marquis to look for more info.

I might think that knob is to open close the louvre vent below the door, just a guess.
