Stove ID

Can anyone ID this stove? it’s at a cabin we occasionally rent. I like the stove, but couldn’t find any markings on it. Plus its hard to tell which way the damper shuts down, I think all the way to the right is closed, which is the opposite of my jotul, doesn’t seem to have much of an effect on shutting the air down. The stove doesn’t have a thermometer either. not sure I want to know what temps it was hitting anyways!

Looks like a VC knock off to me, the lack of tags would support that, maybe it is a Scandia?

Quadrafire Cumberland Gap. Should be a label on the back indicating make and mfg.. Here's the air control instructions. Note there are two controls, one for start up air and one for primary air.

And that explains why the air control didnt seem to make much of a difference, the startup air-control level must have been stuck in the open position, as i wasnt aware of it! Good thing the wood was wet, we didnt have it fully loaded, and its not my stove! I would think if someone is going to rent out a place with a wood stove and actually let the renters use it, they would at least provide basic instructions!

my buddy has a Quadrafire Casitlle Pellet stove that looks very similar, I would have to agree that its a Quadrafire Cumberland Gap
