October 29th is National Cat Day. Have you pet your cat today?

I think I pet five of the eight cats . . . I still have a few hours this evening though to show the rest of them a bit of attention.

You're a good man Jake. I've only pet two.

Two black cats: Whiskers and Gypsy. I was trying to get a picture of Gypsy on the kitchen table. Whiskers jumped up, walked across the table, and sniffed the camera. Great photobombing. :)

Have folks seen the cat vs. mailman video? It's few years old, but I just saw it this year. Very funny. :)

LOL It's even more dangerous when you're in the house. Ask some realtors.

Wow! That's one ticked-off cat! :)

That cat is chill.

Cute cat. Need to search my photos for a picture of B.J., our previous male cat. He was all black, 15-16 pounds, and solid. Looked like a little panther.

Great cat GIF I just saw yesterday … :)

must have got a hook in the nose.

Lived in a townhouse when I first got married. Neighbors cat would hang out with us since Ann had two young boys and a German shepherd. Cat came over to chill. Maya (the cat) was sunning herself on the railing on our deck. Kirsche (German shepherd) came over and was barking at Maya. You just saw her claws come out on a paw with a "just get a little closer" look. :)

Maya came over once and her coat was all spikey. We asked Ann. She said Kirsche picks her up in her mouth and carries her around like a puppy. No wonder Maya was always at our house. :)
