So we usually use stove chows but our HD isnt getting them in, just FSU and they are so dirty, so much carbon build up around the auger and auger tube (Englander pdvc25/55)

We went to our local stove shop and got a ton of stars and stripes based solely on the btu raiting of 8,900 its a 50/50 blend of hard and soft wood. and wow we are so impressed with the amount of heat!!! Not sure yet with ash as we are still on our first bag but wow we are impressed.

Has anyone tried these? I think i found my new favorite pellet!!

So an update! They definitely DO burn hotter tho there is a decent amount of fines. I dont care about that tho :)
