I am one of them. The problem is this is heavy steel, since its meant to be used for high temp exhaust.
My local auto parts store had these as well. I needed something that was actually flexible like the aluminum flex pipe so i could get it positioned (corner install) and be able to remove it from the stove side as its in the way of removing the ESP. Never did find a source for it. I had enough that I was able to get an adapter made to make up the short distance. If i need to fully replace the flex....I have no idea what I would do
 
I used that on mine Ian and your right it is flexible but not very! Lucky for me I have mine straight in and never have to remove it. Definitely no chance of damaging it.
 
I also saw you can get 2'' aluminum flex pipe at McMaster-Carr. I use them a lot in the machine shop I work at. But anyone can purchase with a credit card
