i was wondering if anybody has any new information on this stove.

i really don't know to much about the stove other than its going to have more btu's. i am wondering how soon will you be able to purchase one and what the price is going to be.
anything else that you can tell me that makes it rock would be great.

I don't sell them, you will have to find a dealer near you. There are some stove shop owners on here that might be able to help you out like Erik Kinsman from Kinsman stoves. I have 4 friends that have and love em. I feel it is the best insert out there:cool:

My local dealer didn't even know that Harman was comming out with the new accentra for 2013. There must be someone on this site that has some new information on this stove.

Call other dealers, also call Harmon directly

well, to be fair to your local guy, Harman hasn't really said much at all to dealers pertaining to the new units. It will have SLIGHTLY more BTU's per unit (50k), the architecture is different, and the controls are reputed to be different. That being said, NO dealers have sold any, serviced any, installed any, or ran any, so any real information is honestly conjecture at this point. Will the "new" units have any issues? We have no idea. How much will they be? We have no idea. How will they operate differently? We have no idea. Will they be quieter than the recent Accentra Inserts? We have no idea. How about reliability? Again, No idea. When will they be available? We really don't know that either, though I've heard it was late summer/fall of this year. Truth be know, the dealers really don't know a lot about them. Sorry I cant help more either.

I apologize Mr. Harman, can you now please go and correct every other misspelling on this forum...

I plan on purchasing this stove when it comes out. I was going to put it in this spring but it sounds like it will be closer to the fall.

You guys should show some pics of what you got since its o great, got any?

I would say there are more pics posted in the pellet Forum? Than the Hearth Forum?

I venture in all Forums. But I burn pellets and wood.

Do you burn pellets? Do you own a Harman? Harman owners are pretty proud (should be). Plus, Spelling is fairly easy and is appreciated by all :)

Just sayin

(Post count? You need to work on that.).

X2, I also heard that there are new EPA standards that the stoves must meet. That is the crux of the redesign from what I hear. Will it work like the new low flow toilets did when they came out? New standards can cause new problems.

Hey ram, I can tell you first hand Harman owners can get a lil "testy" when someone mis-spells it. just say something about beer and all will be forgotton;lol

Thanks bud, I wasn't looking for a fight when I came to this thread, but my bad, I will buy the first round of beers and shots!enjoy all...

a more plausible scenario is that other kids on the block have inserts with 50K+ btu output....and you don't wanna lose out on the "bigger is better" crowd...
