A couple years ago the combustion fan got noisy on my then 12 year old Accentra. So I replaced it with an aftermarket blower with an NBK motor. Don’t remember who I bought it from. Towards the end of last year it was getting noisy after 2 years so I decided to order an OEM to install when I do my fall cleaning and the original one lasted 12 years. So today when I was installing it I noticed that the aftermarket fan with the NBK motor was rated at roughly 1/2 the amps as the Harman. Might be why it didn’t last as long.

Mine appears to be 1.75A. It is aftermarket. I have had it now for awhile just in case. There appears to be two different motor designs and one might be lower kw.

The original motor that lasted 12 years was made in the USA. I'm sure you can guess where the aftermarket one was made.
