25-pdvc=best stove

Just wanted to say that since ive moved my 25 pdvc upstairs from my basement it has been great. I have it on my t stat with oak and easily heats my entire 1000 sf house without problems. So far this winter im at the last few bags of my first ton i bought for $199 cant beat that

That's great it's doing the job for you! The first rule of thumb is, put the stove where you need the heat and you did that. I remember 5 years ago when I had the shop come out to assess my situation. I remember asking them about installing the stove in my basement. They told me that was not a good location, seeing I wanted the heat upstairs.

Yep i just hope people dont think these stoves are great because a few people had problems. These are great stoves that put out decent heat for the money. I for one am a satisifed customer

I am in the same boat as you! New owner of a 25-PDVC and tickled pink. I think also get joy from the "Still....Made in the USA" And the movie that comes with it that states "Use a flat tool with a long handle to remove ashes from the burn pot" and what is the flat tool with a long handle they use in the movie? A SPATULA. My buddy that was installing with me was like "What kinda rink a dink mickey mouse operation is this" but I liked it. I like that you can see that real people are putting this dam thing together. People that still work with their hands and put out a solid American product.

glad to see its working out for some, i had one and hated it simply because i couldnt get it to burn well, englander techs were great in trying to help me out but just didnt work out well......IMO, best customer service out there, sometimes i didnt even have to call them back they beat me to it! some will heavily disagree but to me their line of pellet stoves have a great look to them

Unfortunately there are always a few cases where the problem is elusive over the phone even with Englander`s unmatched phone repair service. A situation like yours would probably have been solved with a hands approach by an experienced stove expert..

We're very happy with our 25 PDVC; we've had it since '06. I got it in HD on a end of season 1/2 price deal - I think I paid $575. I had been looking at pellet stoves for a while & figured why not try this & if we like it, maybe get a fancier stove. I've spoken to guys at fancy schmancy stove shops & they turn their noses up when you say "Englander" but its been basically bulletproof. I did call Englander's tech service once with more or less a question and ended up getting a new lower auger with bearing and plate at no charge. A good friend bought a Breckwell from a stove store and has gone through nothing but difficulty with it. It may not be the best looking stove but it was a great buy/

I am with the small group that loves how they look. It looks like a bad a$$ that doesn't care about anything but kicking the colds A$$.

I like mine, price was worth it and nice to have a house real toasty.
Had some Motor, vibration / resonating noise issues but Mike at Englander was always available to help.

birdie, wish i could have had the chance to talk with you, in my office , failure is not an option,(at least as far as i can determine it) we should have been able to correct your issue.

i am touched, i appreciate your kind words about my service department, even though we didn't get the job done. sometime when its not so "hot and heavy" in my service department, "when its cold out there , its hot in here" is the norm, i'd love to beg some time with you to discuss what the issue was so maybe i can determine how we managed to let you down. im not a man who suffers failure lightly

Another happy 25 pdvc owner here,with the cold temps last week my stove just chugged along set on 1-3 heating our house to a toasty 74+ degrees.I only had to call once for trouble shooting and the tech was great.Great service also when ordering parts and fast delivery.

Same here. We've had ours since '07 and it rocks This past week the inside temp in my house averaged out at 70 degrees.....up yours oil man, LOL
The 25PDVC is an excellent quality stove, easy to operate and work on, and has the best customer service in the biz IMHO. I've had quite a few people ask me about pellet stoves and what brands are good. My reply is always the same, Englander.

Sitting nice and warm next to my 25pdvc right now. I haven't burned a drop of oil in 5 years. Englander is by far and away the best considering value, customer service, and ease of repair. I like the look of all their lines, but what really matters to me most is that it always works and any repairs I've ever had to make I was able to do on my own.

We've had our PDV since '08. We absolutely love it. We're heating about 2500 sqft on two levels and it had no problem keeping up this week when it got as low as -5F.

Not a single repair needed in that time. We bought an extra auger motor, haven't needed it. I'm sure that other stoves might need less upkeep, but you can't beat the value of the Englander.

I got mine in Oct. 2008 when the oil man wanted $3200 for the years oil, 650 gallons. I simply declined and have not looked back! I love my stove .

First full season with my stove, went through a few convection motors due to failure, mike and his team are great and got me fixed up and helped me figure out why. Next stove I'm going bigger and it will be a stove from ESW for sure.
