Greetings All
I am going to replace an original factory upper auger motor on an Englander PDVC-25 due to it not being able to feed the stove fast enough to keep a good burn going. I purchased an aftermarket auger motor which came with leads already installed on the motor with spade clips on the ends of the wires. The original factory motor has spade attachments on the motor itself whereas the aftermarket motor has the leads hard wired onto the motor instead of just spade connections like the original factory motor. I can just attach the spade connections from the new aftermarket motor to the circuit control board and unhook the original wiring for the upper auger motor for the factory install and leave the wires unconnected as they will not be connected at the board or motor. My question is do the 2 new aftermarket leads need to be attached in any order to the circuit board auger motor spade connectors, or not?

Thanks for the Help!

You can do that, yes. Double check, as I believe one of the leads goes through the vacuum switch. It's an AC motor, so polarity does not matter.

Greetings,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I appreciate your help!

Talked with the Englander Tech Support and the low fuel feed should be set on 6, the Low Burn Air should be set on 4, and the Air on Temp should be set to 1. Made all the difference to fixing the pellet feed.
