I have been reading the threads on settings for the 25-PDVC. Do I simply touch the button in question and change the setting by toggling the blower motor settings? I haven't seen any setting such as A-D as well.

. I have an Englander 25-PDVC which was bought after 2005. It has been fine since winter started until now. The stove starts normal, and once the fire box is burning well, the top auger quits turning. The stove will stay lit all night long, once the firebox cools down, (only smoldering pellets) the top auger will spin some more pellets down. I am wondering if someone in my family went to start the stove and hit the buttons on the bottom. Have you ever heard of this situation? I called the tech support; however, with my working hours, I cannot be home during the times that someone can trouble shoot with me from home.
Thank you,
it's freezing here

Do a control board reset, unplug the stove plug it back in and quickly push all 3 lower buttons at the same time.wait for f5 to show on the board then unplug the stove again plug it in and push both the up down arrows on the blower quickly, this will show you what mode the stove is in abcd. Set the stove to d mode.set your bottom 3 settings at 5 9 1 and fire the stove up.i have the same yr model stove

bottom 3 settings at 5 9 1
I believe that 6, 4, 1 is the standard setting.
From what you describe it sounds as though the exhaust blower is not maintaining enough vacuum to satisfy the vac switch.
The smoldering pellets also tell me that there isn't much air moving. They should have burned away entirely in about 15 - 20 minutes.
What is puzzeling is that the startup behavior looks normal

That could be anything from a leaking door gasket to a dirty stove or a bad blower bearing.
When was the last time the stove (and vent) had a thorough cleaning?
Check the door seals (dollar bill test)
Check the vac hoses (2) for obstructions.
Visually check that the blower motor shaft is turning at speed once the problem is evident.

Edit
What are the Heat and Blower settings at?

Thanks for your help,
I did the reset;however, the unit is doing the same thing. As soon as the firebox is burning and hot, the top auger quits feeding until the unit is almost out, then feeds some more. Any other suggestions?

I hve shut the stove don to do a cleaning. I believe I cleaned the the vent at the beginning of winter. I have tried the teh heat and blower setting through various ranges, always keeping the blower 1 increment above the heat. I have had isues with the vacume switchs, I have ordered them on-line and the mounting has never been the same as the factory. They have worked in the past though. I will go theroug and clean everything once it cools down and post what happens when I re-fire.

Thanks to al!

Check your vaccum hoses also check on the front just to the right of the burn pot there is a little hole there just below where the baffle plate sits make sure that is clean.use a pipe cleaner or paper clip it may be hard to see but it's there.if you look at the baffle plate it should be just under the right tab of the plate.also what Harvey said earlier chk your door and hopper gaskets also

What are your bottom settings at from left to right? They should be Lff 5 Lba 9 Aot 1
Or even if you choose 6 4 1 as long as the A O T is set at 1 very important.

Guys, I cleaned the stove and vent to the best of my ability. I found places that I didn't even know were there. I fired the stove up and she is burning as should be. I apologize for my ignorance of thinking it was clean enough. Thanks so much for your help. Tomorrow will be the coldest day of the year and I was without my stove.

Thanks again and stay warm!

No need to apologize. This forum is for the sharing of knowledge. I'm glad we were able to help.
