I have a 30NC and it is going in the basement. If I had to guess I would say my chimney is at least 35' tall.

Is this going to overdraft?

Does anyone use a in pipe damper with these stoves?

Yes, some folks do and I would in this case. That's a tall straw on the stove.

I have maybe 8.5 ceiling height x 3 floors. Basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor. That is 25.5 feet plus attic 5-6 feet plus 4 foot above roof chimney. So id guess 35' if i had too.

Looks like I will put in a in pipe damper.....
