You've got to be kidding me! This is what we have to look forward to on Monday. We bought 10 gallons of diesel for the furnace as a precaution.

Only ten gallons!?

I have three methods of heating my house. The pellet stove, which now does most of the heating, a wood stove, for when the electricity goes out and my oil furnace for which I keep a thousand gallons on hand as a precaution. I can heat my house for three years on the thousand gallons of oil I keep in reserve.

Ten gallons of gas for the generator. All pellet stoves cleaned and ready or running. Propain freestanding stove tied to 250 gallon tank and needs no electricity. Jeep in garage with the Hestia buning 1 pound an hour to keep from freezing. Propain camp stove for hot coffee and blueberry pancakes.

At least they sold all of the Packer tickets, so we can sit in front of the pellet stove and watch the game.

Yay on no packer game black out! My work bought a block of tickets and we could purchase them for $62 each. They would draw names. Too cold for me. I am getting old.

1000 gallons of fuel? Do you just fill the entire basement? Where do you keep all that?

We haven't bought any fuel since we put in the pellet stove 2 years ago and heat exclusively with it.

I think our tank is 150 gallons and we have an 1/8 th of a tank. Only use the furnace for central air
