All,
In this shoulder season I have burned a couple of brands that I have never burned: New England pellet and Heat'rs. The New Englands gave good heat, nothing spectacular (on the level of LaCretes), but the ash leftover was sooty and dirty. It seemed to stick everywhere inside the stove. The Heat'rs were a little hotter, still not spectacular, but the ash was so much cleaner. It had the consistency of sand and was white in color. Cleanup was easier. I liked these pellets and would buy them again.
