Thinking of putting something around my freestanding in the garage. Drywall was getting over 140°F last winter. Something like below since mines a corner install.

My stove has a rear heat shield, and the single wall pipe has a 1/2 round shield on the back side. Both are hard to see from the front.
 
Mine has factory shields back and sides and the pipe is beyond listed minimums. Even so I still think about it.
