How does the 4" flex chimney liner get connected to the outlet from the stove rack? Is there an adapter (flex to appliance)?
Can you just insert the flex inside the outlet and put some screws in and seal around the top lip? The install manual is a little vague on this part.

Thanks

It has a 4" stub that connects to the top of the docking plate to your flex.. You don't need a pipe to the stove. When you slide the stove in, the two meet at the docking plate and completes the connection. You should have a gasket attached to the stove that seals the stove to the docking plate when the stove is slid in. hths

My flex liner kit came with the appliance adapter. But it was a very tight fit into the swivel collar on the frame. I don't think there would be any problem just inserting the flex into the swivel collar if it is a good fit. High temp silicone and screws of course.
