Hi All -
I just finished replacing the insides of my Defiant II and last evening was the first of the small break in fires. I plan on completing 10 small break in fires in a controlled manner.
My question here is, what is a good break in temperature to start with? Is it 100 degrees for a period of time? For example, last evening, my break in burn was 100 degrees at the stove pipe and stove itself for a period 1 hour and 45 mins.Is this a good start? Should I ramp up the temperature through the rest of the break in period?
