Here is a different one for you. My kid constantly keeps their bedroom door closed so that room is always much colder than the rest of the house with the Pellet stove on. I was thinking of mounting a plug in exhaust fan up in the wall to get some circulation into that room.. Anyone tried this and found a nice quiet fan? I would prefer one that i could control the speed and then i would just leave it on the lowest speed all the time.. Kids..... not sure why they need to leave the door closed all the time when they are at the opposite end of the house so we cant even hear/see them...LOL

Not sure how well that will work as the air has to be able to flow/escape out of room some how guess it would depend on size of room and how tight your house is.

Maybe add another inch cut on the bottom of the door. Then maybe the kids will stuff the crack with a wet towel to get more privacy.

The doors at the bottom already have a good gap so air movement out will not be a issue.

Plus you will be running the fan/blower at a low speed.

haha same thing i tell the GF when they are fighting about cleaning her room.. Pick your battles as she could be doing alot worse.

For the little bit of makeup heat you need that would be an option? Maybe if it's too hot she will open the door and show herself and you can listen to all the latest music whatever that is...or maybe old Led Zepplin

Mine is heated by a furnace and unfortunately installing a electric heat is out of the question as adding another breaker to the box would make me non compliant for electrical code, as much as i would like to do that. My kid runs hot middle of winter she is no jacket..LOL.. She seems to like the old music thats what her play lists all are.

They also had black flexible duct work running through the basement, into one of these fans: https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-...cphy=98818&hvtargid=pla-4584482474595219&th=1 and then up into a cold air return in the living room.

We're tearing all that junk out, because I put my pellet stove in the living room where it can heat the main part of the house. If you were closer, I would give you both fans and the black duct work.

I like those AC Infinity fan's so far. I bought the 4". I have not really ran it much so far, but they are nice
